How to play game on my computer?

Okay I want to play PS2 games on my computer I have a controller and the media player (VideoLan).

Is there a better one to use? And how do I get it to work? I’ve done it before so I sorta know what to do but I can’t get it to work today! Please help me out I just wanna game…
